Valerie offers a variety of holistic treatments to help you relax, unwind and rebalance. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher offering Reiki treatments and training from 1st-3rd degree in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method. She started her professional training in Reiki in 2004. Training includes:
First and Second Degrees in Traditional Usui Ryoho Reiki.
Advanced Reiki Training and Third Degree (Master/Teacher level (Traditional and Tibetan Reiki). The original Japenese Reiki techniques as taught by Mikao Usui. All courses come complete with a comprehensive manual. She also offers ongoing support to all students after their course.
She is also qualified in Indian Head Massage(IIHHT), Body Massage (IIHHT), Aromatherapy (BSYA)Dip, and has also undertaken training in Hopi Ear Candling, Hot Stone Therapy and Ayurvedic Facial Massage. She has also carried out further training having completed a massage masterclass with the prestigious Clare Maxwell-Hudson from London. To enhance her skills futher she has also travelled to Kerala in India on various occasions to learn and participate in Ayurveda techniques, (which are unique only in Kerala) learning about their various types of massages that are commonly used in this age old yet amazingly rational therapy.
She is also a member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists.
Her approach entails listening and being aware of a person's problems, leading wherever that person needs to go for a complete healing process. Valerie has developed her own creative style of working which is particularly useful in helping people overcome areas in their life that are problematic.
